So right now as a Boston Sports fan it is difficult to find a lot to get excited about during this time of the year. The end of summer before NFL regular season and still a long way to go before Basketball or Hockey start has everyone down. The Red Sox are awful yet again and it seems as though there isn’t a lot to get excited about. Although it may be hard to find, I have come up with some solutions to this dilemma and things Boston Fans can focus on right now.
1. The Red Sox Have a Bright Future:
With Cherington out and David Dombrowski in, there is a lot to be excited about. I have full faith that Dombrowski will rebuild this rotation and bring in heavy hitters like David Price, Cueto and Zimmerman. I also believe he will be able to move Hanley, who has been a total disaster this season. Rick Porcello will hopefully go as well. Dombrowski fears nothing in this league and is willing to do what it takes to get this team back into contention.
This has been the most talked about issue in the history of Boston Sports media since the story first broke out in late January. All I am going to say about it is I have full confidence that the judicial system will exonerate Brady and, at a minimum, reduce his sentence. After that we can put this whole thing behind us.
3. The Deutsche Bank
The FedEx Cup is nearing its end with The Deutsche Bank coming up this weekend. Everyone in the metro Boston area should attend. It is a total blast. I myself attended in 2012 when Rory won. I will never forget seeing Tiger and Rory up close. I also saw some other celebrities like Paulina Gretsky. Want to go now? If you can make you’re way down I-95 to TPC Boston, go for the golf....and ladies.
