With a mere 19 games left in the NBA regular season, if you haven’t been already, it’s time to start diligently tuning in to our very own Boston Celtics night in and night out.
On February 2nd, fresh off an exhilarating comeback victory against the New York Knicks, the C’s were quietly sitting at 28-22 flying under the radar and in the middle of a muddled Eastern Conference. Three nights later Avery Bradley knocked down a cold-blooded buzzer beater to win in Cleveland and all of the sudden, the NBA’s best-kept secret was starting to gain some well-deserved national recognition.
Fast-forward a month and it’s like déjà vu… Sitting at 38-25, 3rd in the Eastern Conference, and following another comeback victory against the lowly Knickerbockers, the C’s head to Cleveland tonight for another bout with the defending champions of the east. That being said, let’s check the pulse of the Eastern Conference playoff race and see which teams are for real and which could possibly fade in the coming weeks:
My expected standings come April:
Go C’s! In Brad We Trust…
