Many of our readers back east would not peg Arizona as a top tier pizza hub. However, this is not true. Oreganos Pizza Bistro was originally from Chicago and is known for Chicago style thin crust as well as deep dish. All of their ingredients are the best of the best. The sauce is a recipe that dates back to 1929 from the Gibblini family of Chicago. The cheese is fresh and flown in from Wisconson.
It has become the most popular pizza place in Arizona and multiple locations have opened over the years. Every single time I have been there, which is a lot, there is always a huge wait to get in even at odd times.
When I go, I always get the thin crust. The pizza is cut up into small square pieces, which makes it so there is no "flop", which I personally am a huge fan of. This has been my spot for years and I would highly recommend it if any of you mass holes get the opportunity to come to Arizona.
