The washed up and highly overrated Seattle Seahawks have decided that apparently it would be a good idea to plan an entire team protest of the National Anthem on the anniversary of 9/11. Judging by the stupidity of this idea, it most-likely came from in his words the "All Pro Stanford Graduate" Richard Sherman.
I have hated Richard Sherman ever since 2013 and I hated the Seahawks when everyone was jumping on the bandwagon the year they won the Super Bowl. I think they were extremely overrated the year they won the Superbowl and the whole team is the biggest collection of dirtbags in professional sports, period. I also think its funny how the Seahawks are copying Colin Kapernick who is on the 49ers who the Seahawks have a bitter rivalry with.
If I were a Seahawks fan.. and thank God I am not, I would be absolutely ashamed of my team. If I were Paul Allen, team owner, I would say "You will stand for the National Anthem or you can kiss your paychecks goodbye" and by the way, judging by how most of them have probably mis-managed their money, they could certainly use those pay checks so they can go out and lease another McLaren.
Additionally, the Miami Dolphins have apparently mulled over the possibility of protesting the national anthem. Unlike other teams' fanbases, it appears that Phins Nation is apparently willing to boycott the team if a protest occurs. Well done.
More details to come.
