In a year in which we've already lost people who changed the histories of their respective professions, late last night, June 3, 2016, the world lost the greatest boxer of all time. "The Champ," Muhammad Ali, has died at the age of 74 after a long battle with Parkinson's Disease.
Being at the age that I am, I never had the luxury of watching Ali fight live, but I've seen many documentaries and clips from his fights and he certainly was something special. Finishing with a career record of 56(37 KOs)-5(1 KO), Ali seemed to always be on his game.
Muhammad Ali had loads of different catch phrases such as; "I'm gonna float like a butterfly and sting like a bee," and "I thought I was the greatest long before I knew I was." Well Champ, I hope you float like a butterfly all the way up to heaven. The world will miss you.
