According to ESPN's Jeremy Fowler, who spoke to Pittsburgh Steelers WR Martavis Bryant's agent, the talented, yet troubled, wideout is facing a potential year-long suspension after an NFL mandated drug test.
Last year, Bryant served a four-game suspension after violating the NFL's substance abuse policy. Nonetheless, in 11 games last season, Bryant hauled in 50 receptions for 765 yards and six touchdowns.
This incident is really tough for Steelers Nation to swallow. After returning from his suspension last year, Bryant thanked the organization and the fans for their understanding and help during this difficult process. He also talked about spending time with former NBA player and coach John Lucas, who operates a substance abuse program based out of Texas.
Hopefully Bryant can learn from this situation, as this may be his final chance to right the ship before the Steelers have to take serious action.
