The National Inquirer has made some serious allegations against GOP candidate Ted Cruz. They are claiming that Cruz, who is married with two daughters, has had affairs with up to five different women.
They are claiming that one was an escort, one was a school teacher, one was Donald Trump's spokeswoman Katrina Pierson, another was a Carly Fiorina campaign staffer and another was a CNN reporter. Now it is important to note that these allegations have not been proven and no other reputable media outlet has been able to substantiate these claims.
The National Inquirer has had a very spotty record with their stories. They have broken true stories such as Tiger Woods and John Edwards scandals, but a lot of their stories are bogus. I think the timing of this story is pretty questionable and looks to me like a smear campaign against Cruz. The guy has been running for president since March 2015 and this is just coming out? So we're a year into this thing and suddenly they just have found this out?
I honestly think if this was legitimate we would have heard about it months ago. I also think that the scumbag "journalists" who "broke" this "story" were trying to capitalize on the timing of Trump and Cruz's spat over their wives that has taken place over the past few days.
At this point in the game almost nothing would surprise me with what we have seen happen during this election cycle so far, I just hope for Cruz's sake that the clowns at the National Inquirerer just made this up.
