DeMarco Murray, like every other athlete, went with the money and signed with the Philadelphia Eagles in the offseason. Leaving one of the best offensive lines in football, his former team, the Dallas Cowboys. But watching Murray play Week One, he didn't look comfortable running in the Eagles' offense.

And that's because the Eagles run an offense that isn't suited for DeMarco Murray.

DeMarco Murray is best suited for an up and down run game, the Eagles run a lot of their running plays out of the shotgun due to the read option. In running that type of offensive scheme, DeMarco Murray isn't able to gain momentum as the ball is handed off to him, like he could in Dallas.

Therefore, making him an easier player to defend in Philadelphia.

However, it's a business. And at the end of the day, it's all about making the most money and not being amongst the best in the business or winning. So DeMarco Murray may regret not being the best, but he doesn't regret making the extra cash.
