Well, here we go.
The Red Sox and Yankees meet for the final game of this weekend's series on Sunday Night Baseball. The Red Sox send knuckleballer Steven Wright to the mound, who has been surprising to start the season. In five starts, Wright is 2-3 with a 1.67 ERA and 31 strikeouts. Additionally, Wright has gone at least six innings and allowed two or fewer runs in each of his five starts to begin the 2016 season. To date, batters are hitting only .188 against him.
For the Yankees, they send righty hurler Luis Severino to the mound looking to sweep one of the better teams in the American League. Severino is 0-4 on the season with a 6.31 ERA, while striking out 16 batters. While he is trending in the right direction, the Red Sox need to capitalize on the struggling pitcher and salvage an otherwise terrible weekend series against the Bronx Bombers.
