Tonight, the Red Sox and Orioles will battle it out to decide who will reign in sole possession atop the American League East. The Red Sox were able to squeak out a win last night, led by strong performances from Hanley Ramirez and Steven Wright. Tonight, the Red Sox will be sending Eduardo Rodriguez to the mound, who looks to rebound after a tough couple of outings to start his 2016 season. In each of his three starts this season, E-Rod's performance and duration has diminished. Last time out against the Minnesota Twins, Rodriguez was only able to last 4.2 innings, allowing six hits and four runs.
The Orioles will be strutting out Tyler Wilson, who has been just as bad, if not worse, than Eduardo Rodriguez. On the season, Wilson is 2-5 with a 4.73 ERA, having allowed five runs and seven hits last Friday against the Toronto Blue Jays. Both teams are facing struggling pitchers, so expect a high scoring game between two of the better offensive teams in all of baseball.
