After last night's debacle, the Red Sox look to get back on track against the scorching-hot Toronto Blue Jays. The Jays have won eight of their last 10 games and are now only 3.5 games back of the Red Sox for first game in the American League East.
The Red Sox will be sending their ace to the mound in David Price. Price, who has a sub-3 ERA in his last four starts, is 7-1 with a 5.11 ERA and an American League-leading 79 strikeouts in his 11 starts this season. Last time out, Price took on this same Blue Jays squad, hurling 6.1 innings and allowing two runs (on a Jose Bautista home run).
The Blue Jays will be sending R.A. Dickey to the mound, who has amassed a record of 2-6 with a 4.64 ERA. Dickey was able to no-hit the Red Sox into the sixth inning, but ended up taking the no-decision after allowing three runs in 5.1 innings.
