.As Charlie Strong's days in Austin look to be numbered, the burnt orange should be looking for a new man to run the show. With plenty of great coaches currently without a job, Here is a few who could be in Texas this time next year:
The Mad Hatter is one of the most exciting, grass-eating coaches out there. He's a proven winner (until he plays 'Bama) and an absolute God of a recruiter (Fournette, Pat-Pete, Mathieu). While his offense is the bane of my existence, he brings a certain dynamic culture to any program and Texas could really use someone like that.
I love Art Briles. His offense, the swagger he brought to Baylor. But the sad truth is that there where some not so great things that happened off the field at Baylor and that may cost him new jobs.
Now I know what you're gonna say: "why would Nick Saban ever leave the dynasty he's created at Alabama?" Well Texas is honestly the only place that could even have a chance of drawing him away from Tuscaloosa. Texas would obviously break the bank for him and having the Longhorn Network could help a lot.
With Washington's rapid rise in the AP poll there isn't a better time than now to take advantage of there success. Winning coaches are hot in today's market and the immense success he's brought to the Huskies could finally bring winning back to Austin
