On Tuesday morning, the NFL released pictures of what each team's Color Rush unis look like. These Color Rush uniforms will be worn for Thursday Night games only. Nine NFL teams will not be wearing their Color Rush uniforms, which could be a good thing. Most are either too bright, too boring, or look just like their normal uniforms. I ranked each uniform from best to worst:
32. Jacksonville Jaguars
This one is pretty self-explanatory. Everything about it is just - blah.
31. Washington Redskins
I've never liked Washington's colors, and these didn't help the cause. The yellow isn't doing it for me. Thankfully, Washington will have to wait until next year to don them. They're one of the nine teams who will not be wearing Color Rush come their Thursday night game.
30. Seattle Seahawks
Two words: too bright.
29. Los Angeles Rams
Not a fan of the yellow. Using last year's joke, it really does look like mustard. A different shade of yellow would make a big difference. LA is another team who won't be wearing them in 2016.
28. Green Bay Packers
There isn't much color. Not much rush, either. I doubt that too much thought went into these.
27. San Francisco 49ers
The helmet doesn't go with the rest very well. The jerseys and pants aren't anything special, either. Meh.
26. New York Jets
These look exactly like their normal uniforms, too. There's a slight difference in the green, but it isn't noticeable nor eye-pleasing. New York won't be wearing these this season, due to the color blindness issue that happened last year with their uniforms.
25. Indianapolis Colts
Once again, nothing exciting or popping to see. No difference between these and their other unis, either. Indy will not be wearing these, either, as their TNF game falls on Thanksgiving.
24. Dallas Cowboys
The trend continues. The blue on the shoulders looks nice, but the white completely dominates, which isn't a good thing. Yawn.
23. Cleveland Browns
These are a small step up from the previous ones. The pop of orange is solid, but they're the Cleveland Browns. That kills the whole vibe. The Browns will not be wearing them this year.
22. Atlanta Falcons
I'm a fan of the red, simple and subtle. Nothing to go crazy over, though. Atlanta will wait until 2017 to wear these.
21. Cincinnati Bengals
Cincy's helmet has always been one of my favorites, and it really stands out with the white jerseys and pants. A little too much white for my liking.
20. San Diego Chargers
If the blue was more on the side of powder or baby blue, these would be incredible. The mix of gold and blue works out great. I'm also a fan of the facemask; that darker yellow is very nice.
19. New York Giants
Now these are pretty. The red outline on the blue numbers really seals the deal for me. As much as I dislike the Giants, I approve of these uniforms.
18. Tampa Bay Buccaneers
The digital numbers plus the bright red are a fantastic combination. It just works. Throwing in a white stripe on the side of the pants or something to that nature would be nice, but these will do.
17. Philadelphia Eagles
These don't look too different from their normal ones, again, but I'm a fan of Philly's uni overall. The black/white/blue-green combo is another good one.
16. Arizona Cardinals
You could call these reverse Falcons uniforms. Not a bad thing. The dominant black with the dark red numbers is easy on the eyes. It gives off a fierce vibe. Sadly, Arizona will not wear these this year.
15. Houston Texans
Very similar to Arizona's, but I like it. They also look a whole lot like their normal jerseys, but in a good way. The only downside, is that when Houston wears these, they'll be playing at New England, who has Color Rush uniforms that look a whole lot like theirs. It could be an issue, trying to see who is who.
14. Denver Broncos
The shade of orange chosen for these is questionable, but I kind of dig it. It's unique compared to the rest of the league's. It's not too bright, not too dark. It gets the job done.
13. Oakland Raiders
Oakland's silver color is gorgeous, and it only looks better on these beauts. These uniforms are sleek, simple, and the classic helmet completes it.
12. New Orleans Saints
Similar to Oakland, the accented numbers look great on top of the plain white. The shining gold stripes on the shoulders and sides of the legs, the golden numbers and the black outline is again simple yet smooth.
11. Kansas City Chiefs
KC's Color Rush and normal unis are almost exactly alike, which many aren't huge fans of. These are the definition of Color Rush without being over the top. They're straight up pretty.
10. Minnesota Vikings
The mix of gold and purple is A+. I wish the shade of purple was a tad bit brighter, but other than that these are definitely top-10 worthy.
9. Pittsburgh Steelers
Classic PIT uniform, but with a little more oomf. There isn't much more to say, it's just visually pleasing. Not too much, not too little. It's just right.
8. Miami Dolphins
There's a lot of mixed reactions to Miami's, rightfully so. Yeah, they kind of look like traffic cones, but I think this particular orange is perfect. It may be a little over the top, but it just works.
7. Carolina Panthers
Blue happens to be my favorite color, so I'm obsessed with Carolina's. You could see that bright baby blue from a mile away. The white, bold numbers calms the blue slightly.
6. Tennessee Titans
The blue, once again. Tennessee's blue looks even better with Color Rush. The white helmet eases the boldness of everything else that's going on. It isn't too too bright, either.
5. Chicago Bears
Jet black plus bright orange equals badass. That jet black, shiny finish helmet seals the deal, not to mention the thin orange outline along the numbers, is the epitome of badass.
4. Buffalo Bills
I'm a little jealous about the fact that Buffalo got the red unis over New England, but nonetheless, I love these. Many hated them last year and still do this year, but I'm a sucker for that dark red all over. Dominant red and subtle white/blue looks phenomenal.
3. New England Patriots
The Patriots are yet again ranked top three in something. These are just sleek. That striped shoulder and the full-body navy blue is so nice. You can't make a Patriots uniform look bad even if you tried.
2. Baltimore Ravens
Bright, bright purple. Gold numbers. The perfect combination. I can't name one bad thing about these bad boys. Another badass uniform.
1. Detroit Lions
Heavily underrated uniforms, in my opinion. I don't know what it is about these that I love so much. The deep black along with the fair blue looks straight up awesome, doesn't it? You can't go wrong with these puppies.
