Biased Boston was able to get their hands on THE live footage from the Irsay hotel room prior to announcing the extensions (until 2019!!!) of Head Coach Chuck Pagano and General Manager Ryan Grigson!
What a day for Colts Nation! What a day for the organization!
Brief Timeline of Events since “Deflategate”:
January 18, 2015: Patriots beat Colts by 80 in AFC Championship game; Colts accuse Patriots of deflating footballs.
January 20, 2015: Chris Mortenson receives false info from league that 11 out of 12 footballs were “significantly deflated”, article still remains on ESPN to this day.
January/early Feb 2015: Major Media Outlets and news stations (ESPN, FOX, ABC, etc.) runs with it and immediately declares Tom Brady guilty with no concrete evidence whatsoever.
February 2015: Patriots defeat Seahawks in Super Bowl 49; Brady disembowels Seahawks defense and secondary with “properly inflated footballs.”
May 6-11, 2015: Ted Wells and his report (again, no evidence) state Brady “probably” had some “general awareness” of “some kind of” deflation scheme of footballs…Brady is suspended 4 games by NFL executive Troy Vincent and commissioner Roger Goodell and the Patriots are docked a first round pick in 2016 and a fourth in 2017.
June 2, 2015: Dictator Goodell does not recuse himself from hearing Brady’s appeal of a suspension he issued.
August 2015: Goodell, his attorneys, and the NFL’s case are ripped to shreds in court; Judge Berman uplifts Brady’s suspension.
2015 NFL Season: Brady is arguably NFL’s best player, has one of the best seasons of his celebrated career; Patriots have fewest fumbles of any NFL offense, best fumble rate of any team, are #2 seed in AFC and atop Vegas odds to return to their 2nd Super Bowl in as many years. Meanwhile, the Colts finish 8-8, and miss out on the playoffs after several “significant” moves in the offseason.
January 2, 2016: Colts re-up Coach Pagano and GM Grigson, further cementing their cap jail and mediocre destiny for the next 4 seasons.
When you come at the King, you best not miss.
