So recently, at a Celtics game against the Pacers, Celtics legend Larry Bird was being interviewed and, of course, Deflategate comes up. Larry Legend basically said it was an unfortunate situation and blown out of proportion. Most notably, he said, “Bob Kravitz made it up and was probably lying." I could not be happier to see Larry, despite being an Indy native to stand with the Patriots against Deflategate. So of course, salty as ever, Bob Kravitz fires back on his blog that no one reads and completely gave it to Larry. His quotes first consisted of “What does Larry Bird know about Deflategate? and “Has he read the Wells report?”
My reaction to his first question is this, well Bob, no one knows as much about Deflategate as you do since you made it up. Second, the Wells report has zero credibility and was pretty much tossed out in a court of law so it is now just an irrelevant document that the NFL paid Ted Wells millions of dollars to write. Kravitz gets even saltier when saying that Larry was acting dishonest during the contract negotiation with David West this past offseason. West is now a member of the Spurs, but its safe to say whatever Kravitz says is completely made up and no one is going to believe it anyways. His credibility is completely down the drain and any respectable sports fan knows Kravtiz is a clown. All I can say is this: I stand with Larry Legend.
