The Tigers and Buckeyes faced-off last night in a game that was thought to be a nail-biter. However, it ended up being a blowout.
J.T. Barrett and the entire OSU offense struggled tremendously last night with Clemson's defense shutting them out for the first time in Urban Meyer's coaching career. Deshaun Watson had his way with the Buckeye defense as he does with most defenses, getting touchdowns through the hair and on the ground. Watson looked like he should have won the Heisman, especially if anyone saw Lamar Jackson's performance yesterday.
Ben Boulware led the Tigers D with 5 tackles and was a phenomenal on-field leader. Malik Hooker seemed to be the only one on the OSU defense who decided to show up with 7 tackles and a beautiful interception on Deshaun Watson. Hooker is one of the best safeties in the country and should go in the first round come April.
Clemson will get the rematch they have been dreaming of for months come January 9th and they better be ready because the Tide wanna keep on Rollin'.
