Let's start with the outfield. The Red Sox will have one of the youngest starting outfields in the Majors next year. With Castillo in right, Mookie Betts in center, and the left handed hitting Jackie Bradley Junior in left, the Sox are poised for a big year from their outfield.
They'll also have De Aza incase a player goes down and of course the utility man Brock Holt. I'm sure some of you are thinking, where is Hanley Ramirez? With how the Sox's roster is going to look next year, I see him playing third base. Because Pablo Sandoval has experience playing first base, he could move there and Ramirez would be playing the Hot Corner. Here's how they'll look up the middle, with Dustin Pedroia at second and break-out star Xander Bogaerts at Shortstop. Behind the dish, they'll have Swihart who has really made a name for himself in a Red Sox uniform. It goes without saying, but Ortiz will be returning as the DH for the Red Sox.
That's a starting roster than doesn't have the lone All-Star this year Brock Holt in it or the hot hitting first basemen Travis Shaw. Because the Sox have Shaw, they could really trade Sandoval away without it hurting their chances next year. The Bench for the Sox would include: Ryan Hanigan, Brock Holt, Josh Rutlidge, Travis Shaw, Alejandro De Aza. Those players are good enough to START on other teams. This is what next year's potential lineup would look like.
