As we just passed the halfway point of the 2016 MLB season, the All-Star game has arrived. The annual game where the American League faces off against the National League for homefield advantage in the World Series. This year the teams face off in San Diego.
This year's game is dominated on the AL side by the Red Sox, and the NL side by the Cubs. The Sox are sending 6 players to San Diego, while the Cubs are covering the entire infield for just the second time in history.
For starters, the American League will throw out Chris Sale (14-3, 3.38 ERA) while the National League elects to pitch Johnny Cueto (13-1, 2.47 ERA).
