According to a high-ranking police officer that spoke to ESPN (Lies), an arrest warrant is supposed to be issued to Buffalo Bills running back LeSean Mccoy for his involvement in an alleged nightclub assault against off-duty police officers in the next day or two. While many have wondered if the off-duty police officers will be charged with any discipline, the same report suggests that they have been cleared of any wrongdoing. According to a detailed statement released by CSNPhilly.com, two middle-aged black off-duty police officers were attacked by four younger black men inside a nightclub. The fight is said to have been started over a bottle of champagne, and quickly escalated to one of the officers being stomped on, kicked, and punched after being shoved to the ground. The police officer was sent to the hospital for stitches, and was being looked at for a possible skull fracture, but has since been released. The other officer involved in the incident was also taken to the hospital, but he appears to be fine. First off, my thoughts and prayers go out to the officers involved in this fight. By all accounts, it sounds as if they got the snot beaten out of them for no good reason. Now that thats out of the way, lets talk about LeSean McCoy and the Buffalo Bills. To be perfectly honest, this entire ordeal could not have happened to a better organization and head coach, one Rex Ryan. After being traded from the Philadelphia Eagles, Shady McCoy turned in a relatively solid season in his first year with the Bills. While the Bills had a pretty crummy year, they look to be on the up-and-coming. However, this entire situation just perfectly fits with the type of head coach Rex Ryan is: undisciplined. The players can do whatever they want without repercussion, which breeds a losing locker room environment. Don't get me wrong, Rex Ryan is a fantastic defensive mind, but he does not belong in this league as a head coach. Can you imagine this happening with Bill Belichick and the New England Patriots? I can't. Do not be surprised if Shady McCoy faces some serious disciplinary action (he won't be released, look at who is coach is), and the sobering reality that Rex Ryan will likely be fired within the next couple of seasons. If you're interested in the actual fight video, TMZ was able to get their hands on it (shocker). Check it out below: Pete Packowski
