According to Chris Vivlamore of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Dwight Howard applied stickum spray to his hands before entering the game in the first quarter of Saturday's 109-97 loss at the hands of the Atlanta Hawks.

Howard re-entered the game while Paul Millsap was at the free throw line. After Millsap made his first free throw, Howard grabbed the ball and gave it to the referee. After receiving the ball, Millsap made a gesture as if there was something on the basketball and threw it back to the official.

The referees assessed no penalty for this incident.

After the game, Howard addressed the incident (Per Jonathan Feigen of the Houston Chronicle):

"I don’t know why people are making a big deal out of it. I do it every game. It’s not a big deal. I ain’t tripping.”

It is unclear if the league will do anything about this situation, but I am sure Howard can talk to Jerry Rice if he needs any more pointers on cheating.
