On April 1st, Nike will begin selling a golf adaptation of one of it's most famous shoes. “Lunar Force 1 G” is a golf shoe edition of the 30 year old “Air Force 1” shoe. The shoes will retail for $140 and come in an all white color, and a black and white color.
They do not feature traditional spikes, but rather a waffle rug sole. Tony Finau, who also just last week won his first career PGA Tour event at the Puerto Rico Open, wears the shoes on tour.
As a fan of sneakers, I will definitely be buying a pair of the “Lunar Force 1 G.” I currently have two pairs of Jordan’s, a pair of “Air Force 1’s”, and a custom pair of Patriots Lunar Force 1’s. For golf shoes, I have the 2014 Tiger Woods edition shoe so I am definitely looking for a replacement.
I have been moving away from the traditional saddle golf shoe and leaning more toward a sneaker golf shoe because they are so much more comfortable. These “Air Force 1” inspired golf spikes are a must buy for any fan of shoes and golf.
