It has long been known that 2016 will be Kobe Bryant’s final season in professional basketball. Now, the Lakers have one final game against the Jazz. This game will be played in Los Angeles at the Staples Center.
Los Angeles native Kendrick Lamar recently remixed a track off his new album “Untitled Unmastered” as a tribute to Bryant. The original track is called “Untitled 7,” which is also known as “Levitate.” The Bryant tribute is a monologue over the beat from Levitate along with highlights from Bryant’s career.
Lamar is currently one of the biggest names in the rap game. His 2012 album “good kid, m.A.A.d city” introduced Kendrick to the world and his 2015 release “To Pimp a Butterfly” put Lamar over the top. “Untitled Unmastered” is a collection of unreleased TPAB tracks.
