So we start off with Bran Stark, who we haven't seen since the end of Season 4, north of the wall
with the "Three Eyed Raven" living in a tree. The Three Eyed Raven is helping Bran tap into his visions and Bran goes back to a scene at Winterfell when his father, Ned Stark, was a young boy.
We then move to Castle Black, where Aliser Thorne's ultimatum is up and Sir Davos and a few other Jon Snow loyalists are still locked inside the room protecting Jon's body. As they prepare for Thorne to knock down the door, Ed returns with an army of Wildlings led by Tourmound. They surround Thorne and the Nights Watch traitors and surrender. Although, there is a last ditch effort by Olly, but he is quickly apprehended. Tourmound then goes to see Jon Snow's dead body and is visibly sad to see his friend dead.
Our story then shifts to Kings Landing where some drunk bro starts bragging that Queen Cersei winked at him, while she was forced to walk naked through the city last season. Someone overhears this and it gets back to Cersei and the resurrected Mountain, a new member of the Kingsguard, gauges his eyes out and he is dead within five seconds. Cersei then wants to attend her recently deceased daughter Myrcella's funeral. As they are walking out to leave, while accompanied by the Mountain, a group of 15 Lannister guards tell her that King Tommen has ordered her to not attend for her own protection. In a tense scene, it looks like the Mountain is ready to clear out all fifteen of them, but Cersei stands down. At the funeral, Tommen is with Jamie Lannister and tells Tommen that he should apologize to his mother. Then the High Sparrow old dude starts talking and then Jamie low key threatens to knife him. A bunch of the High Sparrow's enforcers come in and surround the place, Jamie then stands down.
We then go to Winterfell, where Roose Bolton is complaining to his son Ramsay about Sansa's escape and how the men they sent got killed. It is then announced that Roose's first natural born son has been born. Ramsay hugs his father, but then out of nowhere stabs him in the chest. This is clearly a power grab and then Ramsay unleashes his dogs on his new half brother and Roose's wife. Ramsay clearly intends to march on the wall.
Our story shifts over to Mereen, where Tyrion Lannister tries to free the two remaining Dragons. He is able to do so, but the dragons are still dangerous and unpredictable.
We then move quickly to Sansa's plot line, where she is with Brienne heading to Castle Black for protection, Theon decides it is best for him to return to the Iron Islands.
Next, we go to Pyke, the castle in the Iron Islands that we have not seen since Season 2. Baylon Greyjoy, Theon's father walks out on a bridge and his exiled brother, Euron Greyjoy pushes him off as he falls to his death. This is yet another power grab.
Finally and most importantly, we go back to Castle Black, where The Red Woman is wrapped up, chilling on the couch and Davos comes in and asks her if there is any magic she could use to try and bring back Jon Snow. The Red Woman is acting depressed, but says she will try something. Davos, Tourmond, Ed and The Red Woman gather around Jon Snow's dead body as she performs her ritual. Nothing happens and eventually everyone exits the room in disappointment. However, just when all seems lost, Jon rises from the dead and gasps for air. Thats right! HE IS BACK!
