Winner: Lamar Miller
Looks like the coaching switch to Dan Campbell has been the biggest boost to Miller and his performance. He has nearly doubled his first 5 weeks of production in his previous two games. Miller showed signs of life with a 54-yard TD catch and an 85-yard TD run.
Loser: Odell Beckham Jr.
For the third time in four weeks Beckham has been held to under 65 receiving yards. The sticky handed Beckham can’t seem to work up any magic. His production could be blamed on Eli and his inconsistent performances, but Beckham’s underperformance puts him in the loser seat.
Winner: T.Y. Hilton
The man is back. After a lackluster beginning to the season, T.Y. seems to have found himself in the highly talented and competitive Colts receiving core. Although most of his yards came from garbage time, it’s encouraging to see the talented Hilton preforming at a high caliber.
Loser: Julian Edelman
A PPR machines during the first 3 weeks has been on the decline after the Patriots bye. Edelman is averaging about 5 catches a game after the bye, and hasn’t seen more than 50 yards in two weeks. It’s hard to trust any Patriots player in terms of fantasy value because they are so sporadic with their game plans. Regardless, Edelman is a big fat loser in week 7.
Winner: Derek Carr
Tell the cemetery to hold off on engraving Carr’s name. Many who thought we would be another QB in the graveyard are silenced, at least for now. Carr is flashing signs of a top 10 QB after his route of the chargers. This guy has stud written all over him.
