The studs and duds appeared this weekend ladies and gentlemen. Some players went off and some sizzled to nothingness. Here are the fantasy winners and losers from this weekend.
Winner: Aaaaarrrroon Roddgggeerrrrs Good. Lord. What a game Aaron Rodgers put up in Green Bay Monday night. Passing for the jackpot numbers 333 yards and 5 touchdowns earned him stud of the week award. The reigning MVP has put up 10 touchdowns on the year and more importantly no interceptions. The discount double check guy is only heating up, watch out everyone.
Loser: Justin Forsett Loser of the first three weeks if we’re being honest. The veteran and number one man in Baltimore is averaging just 3.1 yards per carry on the year. His lack of touches and production could be the result of an atrocious Ravens team being forced to throw the ball. The guy is a bum, so don’t wait around for him to get hot
Winner: Larry Fitzgerald I think I’ve put him on here for the third straight week now. This guy found a time machine. He’s taking hits, holding onto the ball, running fast, and breaking tackles like a rookie. Five touchdowns in the past two games, and he’s already surpassed his previous season totals.
Loser: DeMarco Murray Watching the season unfold, I cannot believe how terrible Murray has been. He showed no signs of life weeks one and two and then suddenly he’s made of class. The man who demanded millions of dollars is being showed up by Ryan Mathews. If you drafted Murray, I’m sorry.
Winner: AJ Green Excuse me while I pick my jaw off of the floor. He did what?! 227 yards receiving and two touchdowns for AJ Green. Stud mode was set to 100 percent on Sunday. Green caught more than half of Andy Dalton’s passing yards on Sunday. He looked a little slow weeks one and two, but the critics have been silenced.
