Here we go.
After Calvin Johnson retired earlier this month, people are already speculating that he will somehow sign with the Patriots.
Nate Burleson, who was a teammate of Johnson's on the Detroit Lions from 2010-2013 recently unveiled his plan on NFL.com for the recently retired wide receiver:
"Congratulations on your retirement, man. Now, take this year off ... then find a way to land with the Patriots and get a championship ring. You deserve it."
There are so many different ramifications and things that would have to go right, mainly monetarily wise, that it is pretty unrealistic to think that Calvin Johnson is going to join the Patriots. However, it is a really cool thing to think about. Imagine Tom Brady throwing 10-15 touchdown passes to Megatron.
Megatron, Minitron, Gronk and Brady. Shit.
